May I help you?

Margot

This is my sweetheart and the love of my life.  We've been married for nearly 12 years and some of these pictures were taken at our church, on several anniversary vacations, and other family celebrations.  We both love music (all types), great food and wine, and spending time with our families (which include the dogs).  Margot is graduate of the Culinary School of Fort Worth and is a fantastic chef. Unfortunately, bad knees don't mesh well with the long hours standing in a professional kitchen and now the family, close friends, and I are the only receipients of her outstanding cooking.

The Dogs

These are pictures of our family as it is now.  Someday (soon) we hope to actually add human children to our brood, but for now we have our dog children and they are as sweet as they come.  Rusty, the Beagle, is very laid back, calm, and still quite curious with that powerful nose of hers.  The Corgi/Shepherd mix is Shirley and is very good at protecting our house from squirrels and other vermin that might get close to our domicile.  Both of them are excellent with children, love people (after all, visitors come to see them, don't you know) and very good with other dogs (we house sit other dogs for friends and they get along great). The black and tan Dachshund that you see is our beloved Oscar Mayer the Wiener Dog who passed away a couple of years ago.  He was absolutely the best dog ever. He may have been small in stature, but he had a giant personality and was loved by many in our family.  To this day, we still miss him and laugh about things he did years ago. Someday, perhaps when we finalize an adoption of a couple of kiddos, we'll go get another wiener dog from the shelter.

I got my eyes on you, Buddy! I am on PATROL!

Yes, as a matter of fact I AM a good looking Wiener Dog!

Shirley is happy and ALERT!!! (Nothing happens without her knowledge!)

Bacon! I smell Bacon! Someone's cooking it in the next town!

Rusty is just a merry little Beagle...Rusty...funny name for a girl.

I was resting comfortably until you showed up with that bright flash!

The William Kratt Chord Company in performance mode.

I sang with The William Kratt Chord Company for a few years (2005 through 2007) and we were good enough to be the Northwest Texas Division Champions for 2006 and 2007.  I had to give up this quartet to help my parents move from San Antonio to Fort Worth. Even considering how much I loved singing in a championship quartet, the time spent helping and being with my folks is well worth it.

Luckily, there was another talented Lead Singer available (probably better than me) who took over my spot.  The quartet has continued to win the Division Championship (for 2008) and has finished in the top 5 at the 5-state District Competition and even qualified to sing on the International Stage in July 2009.  Tim and Sam Lowrance (Father and Son) and Tom Jackson are ALL great singers and performers (and they remain good friends, too).
